Pentagon Successfully Tests Rocket Supersonic Speed ​​Exceeded

"This bomb has a weight of 13,607 pounds that is designed to destroy targets located deep in the soil. The scientists who developed this bomb calls, bomb the flying speed exceeding five times the speed of sound."


"This test aims to collect data on aerodynamics, navigation, guidance and control, as well as thermal protection technology," said a Pentagon spokesman, Lt. Col. Melinda Morgan.

AHW program is part of the U.S. military project that is expected to send conventional weapons to various places within an hour. For this project, the Pentagon has invested approximately $ U.S. 240 million.
